Job summary

Aloula Aviation | الأولى للطيران seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to design and implement robust on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, architect hybrid solutions, and ensure business continuity.

You will lead cloud strategy, system integration, security/compliance, and provide technical mentorship while documenting architectures and guiding the IT team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems design.
• 3+ years of cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, containers, and automation tools.

Job description

Basic Function:

Designing and implementing robust on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure solutions. Architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective hybrid environments, or cloud based ensuring business continuity

Key Accountabilities:

• Infrastructure Architecture Design

Design and develop enterprise infrastructure and systems architecture to meet business requirements or review and valid the vendor’s infrastructure and architectural designs. Define infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures. Integrate on-premise and cloud systems into a cohesive architecture if required.

• Cloud Strategy and Implementation

Lead the design and migration of infrastructure to public, private, or hybrid cloud environments. Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective. Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and technologies.

• System Integration & Performance Optimization

Assess system architecture and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability. Ensure high availability, failover, and disaster recovery strategies are in place.

• Security & Compliance

Design systems with built-in security and compliance features. Work with security teams to enforce access control, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

• Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as a subject matter expert for IT infrastructure and cloud architecture. Present architectural plans and recommendations to executive stakeholders. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to IT team members.

• Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Document architecture designs, system configurations, and standard operating procedures. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to guide future architecture decisions

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge and Experience:

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems design.

3+ years of cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Strong knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, containers, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

License and Certificates:

Certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect.
