Job summary

Alkhorayef Group is seeking an investment professional in Riyadh to build and manage a pipeline of direct opportunities and fund/co-invest relationships across target geographies. You will screen opportunities, own financial models, and coordinate due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and tax workstreams.

The role involves drafting investment memos, supporting term negotiations, and monitoring portfolio performance with quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or a comparable investment role.
• Strong financial modelling from a blank sheet — DCF, and operating models without templates.
• Demonstrated ownership of diligence workstreams on completed transactions.
• Clear, concise written analysis suitable for busy decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a pipeline of direct opportunities and fund/co-invest relationships across target geographies.
• Run first-pass screening against our mandate: business quality, alignment, downside protection, hold-period fit.
• Maintain relationships with intermediaries, sponsors, operators, and other family offices.
• Prepare screening memos with a clear recommendation to pursue or pass.
• Own the financial model: operating build-up, returns analysis, downside and stress cases.
• Run or coordinate diligence workstreams — commercial, financial, legal, tax — including managing external advisors.
• Draft investment memos: thesis, key risks, valuation, structure, exit or hold logic.
• Support negotiation of terms, structuring, and documentation through to close.
• Monitor performance against underwriting; maintain KPI reporting and valuation marks.
• Prepare quarterly portfolio reviews and consolidated performance reporting for the principal(s).
• Track fund commitments: capital calls, distributions, and manager performance.
• Support liquidity events, follow-ons, restructurings, and exits.
