Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will support and administer inventory management plans, implement tracking systems, and optimize stock levels aligned with business goals and policies.

The role involves coordinating with warehouses and supply chain teams to ensure accurate stock and timely replenishment, with a focus on reducing out-of-stocks and excess inventory. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in inventory roles are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• More than 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer inventory management plans and processes.
• Implement inventory tracking system to optimize control procedures.
• Reduce stockouts and unhealthy inventory while optimizing inventory levels.
• Manage end-to-end stock movement and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain reports on inventory operations, levels, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams and other supply chain functions.

Support to develop and administer Inventory management plans and processes to identify, evaluate and develop organization's inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system, in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Inventory Specialist position

• Support to develop and administer Inventory management plans and processes to identify, evaluate and develop organization's inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system, in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies
• Implement inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
• Implement plans to optimize inventory - reduce out of stock while reducing unhealthy & unsellable inventory
• Manage end-to-end movement of stock and reconciling in case of discrepancies
• Implement Inventory management plans to monitor the accuracy of weekly data, history, network changes, lead-times, past and future promotional events, new product information, pricing, and customer service performance goals
• Maintain detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
• Collaborate with multiple warehouse teams and other supply chain teams like logistics and sourcing
• Reconcile daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

• May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function
• Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
