Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be in final stages of graduation.
• Major should be in one of the following engineering disciplines: Electrical, Computer, Electronics, Computer Science, or Process Instrumentation & Control.
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced project engineers to learn processes.
• Assist in delivering project activities.
• Complete the training sessions to become familiar with Honeywell products and solutions.
• Involve in activities across the project lifecycle including hardware checks and loop checks.
• Seek cross-discipline knowledge by collaborating with other engineers.
• Report progress and any issues to the supervising engineer.

Purpose of the Job

This role provides the opportunity to have on-the-job training at Honeywell Process Solutions within the Engineering department. Interns will gain hands-on experience in industrial automation solutions, along with the development of essential soft skills, preparing them effectively for the job market.

Principal Responsibilities

• Shadowing and learning from experienced project engineers.
• Supporting in delivering project activities.
• Complete the assigned training sessions to be familiar with Honeywell products and solutions.
• Involve in performing different activities within the project lifecycle such as hardware visual inspection and loop check.
• Proactively looks to build cross-discipline experience and increase knowledge through working with other engineers.
• Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to the supervising engineer.

Education Required

Applicants: must be in the final stages of their graduation requirements.

Duration: As specified in the training letter from the university.

The major should be in one of the following engineering disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Process Instrumentation & Control.
