Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Interior Designer - Saudi National to join a major supervision project in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee the interior fit-out works, ensuring adherence to design specs, quality standards, and client expectations, while coordinating with architects and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in interior design with a strong focus on site supervision, design management, and QA for large-scale developments in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Strong background in construction supervision, site coordination, design management, and quality assurance.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, hospitality, residential, mixed-use or infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise interior design works and manage a dedicated team through all project phases.
• Collaborate with architects and design disciplines to resolve design or construction issues.
• Provide input on material and finish selections aligning with design intent.
• Contribute to and approve construction ID details and ensure alignment with vision.
• Review construction documentation, shop drawings, submittals, and highlight discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings for project records.

WSP is seeking an experienced Interior Designer - Saudi National to join and support a major Supervision Project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the design implementation process, ensuring that interior fit-out works are executed in accordance with approved design specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong background in construction supervision, site coordination, design management, and quality assurance for large-scale commercial, hospitality, residential, mixed-use, or infrastructure developments. Experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia and familiarity with local regulations, standards, and industry best practices will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise interior design (ID) works, managing a dedicated team throughout all project phases.
• Collaborate closely with architects and other design disciplines (spec. lighting, MEP final fix etc) to resolve any design or construction-related issues, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Provide expert input on the selection of materials and finishes, balancing client preferences with architectural and project requirements.
• Contribute to and approve construction ID details, guaranteeing alignment with the overall design vision.
• Manage and review construction documentation, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements....etc, to ensure all design intent and modifications are reflected & highlight any discrepancies in the design.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings for project records.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s of Architecture, or a related subject
• Preferably 15+ years’ experience in Architecture, ID and Design with a background on
• High-rise tower (Ideally 300+ meters)
• Have been part of a Design team leading the delivery of large-scale projects, in the Middle East
