Job summary

Welspun Pipes Company seeks a Robotics Engineer to design, program, integrate, and maintain robotic systems in our manufacturing environment. The role focuses on boosting production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety through advanced automation technologies.

You will develop and modify robot programs for ABB, KUKA, FANUC, and Yaskawa, integrate robots with PLCs and sensors, and lead safety-compliant automation projects across plant cells and lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
• 5–10 years in automation or robotics within heavy industry or manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial robots and safety standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, integrate, and maintain robotic systems to improve efficiency and quality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot robot controllers, sensors, and motion systems to minimize downtime.
• Identify automation opportunities to optimize cycle times and throughput.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and control teams on system design and installation.
• Develop safety documentation and ensure compliance with ISO/OSHA CE standards.
• Document performance, alarms, maintenance, and produce improvement reports.
