Job summary

Accor in Jeddah is seeking a detail-oriented Income Controller to safeguard revenue reporting accuracy and financial controls across departments. You will review daily revenue, reconcile figures across PMS and POS, and verify payments and cash handling.

You will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue analyses, identify variances, and support month-end close while collaborating with Front Office, Reservations, and other teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in income audit or revenue control in hospitality or related sector.
• Strong knowledge of revenue streams, reconciliation procedures, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with PMS, POS, and financial reporting software.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and GAAP/IFRS understanding.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify daily revenue reports from all operational departments and outlets ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with established financial procedures.
• Reconcile daily revenue figures across the PMS, POS systems, and financial reporting platforms to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify room revenue, food & beverage revenue, outlet sales and other operational income against supporting documentation and system records.
• Analyze daily transactions, discounts, complimentary items, voids, refunds, allowances and rebates for proper authorization and recording.
• Investigate revenue irregularities and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
• Verify the accuracy of payment transactions and reconcile cash, credit card and alternative payments against daily revenue reports.
• Review cashier reports, cash deposits and outlet closing procedures to ensure internal controls and safeguards.
• Monitor revenue posting procedures to ensure income is recorded in correct accounts and periods.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue reconciliation reports highlighting variances and trends for Finance management.
• Maintain organized revenue-related records to facilitate audit readiness and compliance.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Reservations and others to ensure transparent revenue reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by verifying accruals and reconciliations.

• Verify room revenue food and beverage revenue outlet sales and other operational income streams against supporting documentation and system records
• Analyze daily transactions discounts complimentary items voids refunds allowances and rebates to ensure proper authorization and accurate recording in accordance with company policies
• Investigate revenue irregularities and discrepancies with a collaborative approach coordinating with relevant departments to achieve timely and effective resolution
• Verify the accuracy of payment transactions and reconcile cash credit card and alternative payment methods against daily revenue reports
• Review cashier reports cash deposits and outlet closing procedures to ensure adherence to established internal controls and financial safeguards
• Monitor revenue posting procedures and ensure that all income is recorded in the correct accounts and accounting periods
• Prepare comprehensive daily weekly and monthly revenue reconciliation reports highlighting significant variances and trends to Finance management
• Maintain organized and accessible documentation of revenue-related records reports and supporting materials to facilitate audit readiness and compliance
• Work collaboratively with Front Office Food amp Beverage Reservations and other operational teams to ensure transparent and accurate revenue reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by verifying revenue accruals reconciliations and relevant financial records with precision
• Identify control weaknesses and inefficiencies in revenue procedures recommending innovative improvements to minimize revenue leakage and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure full compliance with company policies financial procedures audit requirements and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in income audit, revenue control, income control, or a similar financial role, preferably within a hospitality, retail, or corporate environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of revenue streams, daily revenue reconciliation procedures, cashiering operations, and internal financial controls
• Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and financial reporting software
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial data analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS standards, and audit procedures
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and discrepancies
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity when handling sensitive financial information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a transparent and inclusive manner
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preparing and presenting financial reports to management
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance requirements
