Role Description

The Income Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. This position is responsible for reviewing and verifying daily hotel revenue reports, ensuring that all income from rooms, food and beverage, and other outlets is accurately recorded. The role includes reconciling posted transactions, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with front office, reservations, and food and beverage teams to resolve issues. The Income Auditor prepares daily and periodic revenue summaries, supports month-end closing processes, and assists in maintaining compliance with internal controls and financial procedures. The role also involves maintaining organized records, supporting external and internal audits, and providing clear, timely communication to management on revenue trends and variances.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills, including knowledge of hotel or hospitality accounting practices.


• Auditing and internal control skills to review, verify, and validate daily income and revenue reports.


• Finance knowledge to understand revenue flows, financial statements, and basic financial analysis.


• Account reconciliation skills to balance income reports, revenue postings, and ledger entries.


• Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to monitor, validate, and follow up on receivables and credit transactions.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and accounting software.


• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.


• Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.


• Previous experience in hotel income auditing or hospitality finance is preferred.
