Job summary

Afaq Q Tech General Trading (Amazon) in Riyadh is seeking a data-driven inventory leader to own stock planning for our MENA A-Now program. You will analyze data, forecast demand, and drive improvements across suppliers and operations to optimize in-stock performance.

This role requires strong Excel and SQL skills, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate ambiguous data into precise actions, delivering cost optimization and reliable stock availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
• 5+ years of Excel experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience working with complex data sets.
• Knowledge of statistical inventory control, Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma and SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory health metrics and accuracy.
• Drive strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess/aged inventory.
• Implement and maintain inventory control processes.
• Monitor shrinkage and damage rates.
• Analyze historical data to predict future inventory needs.
• Create demand forecasts and recommend order quantities.
• Monitor and report on KPIs.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with operations, transportation, and procurement teams.
• Drive alignment between planning and execution teams.
• Escalate and resolve inventory-related issues across networks.
• Lead projects to improve in-stock performance.
• Develop and implement SOPs; train team on inventory management best practices.
