Job summary

Acwa China in Saudi Arabia seeks an I&C Maintenance Engineer to plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, outages, and overhauls on plant I&C equipment.

You will use SAP CMMS for work orders, coordinate with planning engineers, and ensure IMS and environmental responsibilities are met.

Ideal candidates hold a BE in I&C and 3–5 years in operation/maintenance, preferably in power or RO plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in I&C engineering.
• 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience in operation and maintenance in power/RO plants is preferred.

Job Summary

Works under the direction of I&C Section Head & maintenance manager to plan & supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance, monthly /annual outage and overhauling work activities on plant I & C equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs as per the direction of Section Head.
• Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff.
• Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence related to work.
• Executes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters.
• Maintain such communications and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken.
• Helps Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
• To perform technical evaluation of quotations received from purchase department and recommend appropriate choice.
• To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.
• Review and recommend new maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of all personnel assigned to his area.
• To carry out any other duty assigned to him by the management from time to time.
• Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated
• Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs
• Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS
• Report IMS performance to the management periodically
• Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities
• Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions
• Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.
• Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees
• Responsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s engineering degree (B.E) in I & C
• Minimum 3 -5 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferable Have worked in operation and maintenance field ( power, RO...etc Plant) as an I&C engineer
