Job summary

A leading engineering services provider is seeking a qualified HVAC/EPP technician in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and power generators, including Cummins equipment. Candidates should have a Universal 608 HVAC certification, high school diploma, and experience in a fast-paced environment. Practical experience with Cummins systems and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. A US government's Security Clearance will be required for this position.

Job description
HVAC/EPP

The designee shall be qualified to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) systems, and associated equipment. Performs scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, and adjusts systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization. Identifies, repairs, and records malfunctions by removing, repairing, and or replacing defective components. The designee shall maintain systems such as, but not limited to Cummins generator series' DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6 125D6D, MEPP series 1050, 1070A, PP- 3106A and utilize Cummins Inpower software for diagnostics. This designee shall be qualified to work from blueprints, drawings, and operating a variety of electrician’s hand tools and testing instruments. Support various generator/HVAC systems identified in Table 4.5.1 – C2 Systems and Associated Support Equipment; Table 4.5.2 ATCALS Systems and Associated Support Equipment; Table 4.5.3 ATC Weather Systems and Associated Support equipment; Table 4.5.4 C2 Air Control Squadron O&M Support, Table 4.5.5 Regional Maintenance Center O&M and Support Equipment. Units range from 15kW to 250kW power generation and 1 - 5 ton HVAC split and roof top configurations.

Essential Responsibilities:

The designee shall perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, adjust systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization, identify, repair, and record malfunctions, maintain generator and HVAC systems, including Cummins DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, etc., and use Cummins Inpower software for diagnostics.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Universal 608 HVAC certification.
  • High School diploma or GED. Formal training on power generating equipment and associated equipment such as: military technical training school, vocational college, and/or a four (4) year apprentice program with experience in electrical power production maintenance and repair.
  • Willingness to perform other duties outside the HVAC trade.
  • Computer knowledge to navigate online training, time keeping and email.
  • Four (4) years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain. Six (6) months of Cummins Commercial, Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS) and InPower Software experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to do the following for sustained periods of time: stoop, bend, kneel, carry, reach, lift.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
