Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an HSE professional to drive site-level health, safety, and environment initiatives. You will help design and implement the HSE Management System and project-specific HSE Plan, lead inspections of work areas, people, and equipment, and promote HSE awareness through targeted talks.

You will conduct incident investigations, coordinate work permit systems, ensure PPE compliance, and report to HSEM on status and promotion activities.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing HSE management systems.
• Mandatory NEBOSH IGC; ADIS/PDIS preferred.
• Ability to conduct investigations and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist site management in implementing HSE Management System and project HSE Plan.
• Carry out HSE inspections of Work Area, methods, people, tools, and machinery.
• Create HSE awareness through Pep Talks.
• Conduct incident investigations and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate implementation of Work Permit Systems.
• Inspect PPE and ensure 100% usage.
• Report to HSEM on HSE status and site promotions.
• Facilitate screening of workers and conduct HSE inductions.
• Monitor First Aid administration.
• Conduct fire drills and manage fire extinguishers.

Job description

• Develop and assist site management in implementing company HSE Management System and project specific HSE Plan.
• Carry out HSE inspection of Work Area, Work Method, Men, Machine & Materials, Plant & Machineries and other tools and tackles.
• Creating HSE awareness through Pep Talk.
• Conduct investigation of Incidents & recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of Work Permit Systems.
• Inspection of PPE & ensure 100% usage of all required PPE.
• Report to HSEM on all matters pertaining to status of HSE and promotional programme at site level.
• Facilitate screening of workmen and conduct HSE induction.
• Monitor administration of First Aid.
• Conduct Fire Drill, Procure, inspect, and arrange to maintain Fire Extinguishers.
