Job summary

iHR (International Human Resources) is seeking an HSE Engineer to support the implementation and management of occupational health and safety across projects and field operations.

The role requires experience with HSE plans, risk assessments, PTW processes, and incident investigations, with a strong emphasis on compliance with Saudi regulations and ISO standards, backed by NEBOSH/OSHA certifications and excellent reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Field experience in HSE and construction/restoration risk management.
• NEBOSH / OSHA certifications.
• Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001.
• Knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and requirements.
• Good command of English.
• Strong reporting, communication, and contractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE plans.
• Prepare Risk Registers and conduct risk assessments.
• Review HSE plans and PTW requirements.
• Monitor emergency, evacuation and incident response plans.
• Investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports.
• Conduct field inspections and follow up on hazards.
• Monitor safety of construction/restoration/infrastructure works.
• Review HSE plans for events and monitor crowd safety.
