Overview

Our client is a leading restaurant chain in Saudi Arabia, operating over 20 branches across the Kingdom. They are currently hiring an experienced HR Director to join their head office in Jeddah, KSA.

The role reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions, driving organizational development, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Role Overview

The HR Director will lead the company’s Human Resources strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals during this critical phase of growth and regional expansion. The role requires a strategic leader with strong expertise in policy development, organizational culture, change management, and HR digital transformation.

The HR Director will be responsible for strengthening HR policies, elevating the training and development function, enhancing HR Business Partnering, and driving employee engagement and performance management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement the company’s HR strategy aligned with business expansion in KSA and GCC.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Overhaul and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in compliance with Saudi labor laws.
  • Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent HR practices across all locations.
  • Talent & Culture
    • Lead organizational culture initiatives, embedding a high-performance, customer-centric, and collaborative mindset.
    • Drive change management programs to support digital transformation and growth.
  • Training & Development
    • Strengthen the Training Department by creating structured development programs for employees at all levels.
    • Build leadership development, succession planning, and continuous learning frameworks.
  • Performance & Rewards
    • Redesign performance management systems with clear KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
    • Enhance compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • HR Business Partnering
    • Develop and mentor the HRBP team to provide effective support to operations and business units.
    • Ensure HR adds measurable value to line managers and employees through proactive solutions.
  • Digital Transformation
    • Lead the adoption and implementation of HR digital systems (HRIS, recruitment, performance, payroll, etc.).
    • Ensure HR data and analytics are used for informed decision-making and workforce planning.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Over 10 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years of progressive HR leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a Director, Head of HR, or Organizational Development Manager role.
  • Proven experience in multi-site, multi-country operations (preferably in food service, retail, or FMCG).
  • Strong track record in policy design, training, performance management, and HR digitalization.
  • Expertise in change management and building organizational culture.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across all levels.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and results-oriented.
