Job summary

Accor is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring top cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a hotel environment.

You will supervise attendants, inspect rooms and public areas, assign tasks, and coordinate with Front Office to ensure timely room availability. Strong leadership and English skills are preferred.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. You will lead and support the housekeeping team, monitor room and public area standards, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants and related team members.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel and brand standards.
• Ensure guest rooms are cleaned and prepared according to established procedures and within the required timeframes.
• Assign daily tasks and room allocations to housekeeping team members.
• Monitor room status and coordinate closely with Front Office to ensure timely room availability.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and housekeeping-related issues professionally and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections and follow up on maintenance issues, damages, and lost and found items.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and control of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping supplies.
• Monitor linen and amenity stock levels and report shortages to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high service and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety, hygiene, health, and security procedures.
• Support the Housekeeping Manager with daily reports, inventory, and operational follow-up.
• Promote teamwork and maintain positive working relationships with all hotel departments.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor or senior Housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel cleanliness standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a multicultural team.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel systems and housekeeping procedures is pre
