The Role of the Housekeeping Coordinator

As a Housekeeping Coordinator, your role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department. You will serve as a key point of coordination between housekeeping team members, other hotel departments, and guests, helping to ensure that all housekeeping requests and operational requirements are handled promptly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include coordinating daily housekeeping activities, communicating room status updates, following up on guest requests, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with departmental reports and administrative tasks. You will work closely with the Housekeeping team, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely communication and effective resolution of operational issues.

Attention to detail, organization, and strong communication skills are essential in this role. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring pending requests, coordinating lost and found procedures, and ensuring that all relevant information is communicated to the appropriate team members.

By maintaining efficient communication and organization within the department, you will contribute to operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and the delivery of the high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and personalized service expected at Four Seasons.
