Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Plumber/Plant Operator for the Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining complex plumbing systems across guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Plumbing with 2-3 years of hotel experience, strong knowledge of codes, and keen problem-solving abilities to support continuous operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Plumbing or relevant technical training.
• 2-3 years of experience as a plumber, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and maintenance practices.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain all plumbing systems in guest rooms, kitchens, staff accommodation, public areas and back-of-house.
• Respond promptly to guest room plumbing issues such as leaks and low water pressure.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing-related systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Ensure proper functioning of water supply and sewage systems and monitor for leaks.
• Work with maintenance staff on hotel renovation projects involving plumbing modifications.
• Prepare and submit reports on completed jobs and materials used.
