Job summary

Marriott International in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Full-Time Maintenance/Engineering Associate to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across hotel facilities. The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical knowledge and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface prep and painting is beneficial.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• No supervisory experience is expected for this role.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Identify shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Document daily activities and issues to other shifts.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform basic repairs on interior/exterior surfaces and landscaping where needed.
• Use basic computer skills to input schedules and adjust temperatures.

Education

High school diploma or GED

General maintenance experience

Hotel engineering/maintenance experience a plus

No supervisory experience
