Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Identify, locate and operate shut-offs for equipment and buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards to shifts.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders.
