Job summary

Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard seeks an Engineering Supervisor to oversee the hotel’s daily maintenance operations, ensuring all building systems are maintained to high standards and safety is prioritized. You will supervise engineering technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and support energy conservation initiatives in line with IHG brand standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of engineering maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team supervision abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the engineering team, ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen, and building systems.
• Assign daily work orders, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and plant rooms to identify maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to technicians during repairs and maintenance activities.
• Monitor the condition of hotel equipment and recommend repairs, replacements, or improvements when necessary.
• Monitor contractor work when assigned, ensuring compliance with hotel standards and safety requirements.

Education
