Job summary

Mimacsrl in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced HV Technician to install, test, and commission high‑voltage equipment in industrial and utility settings. The role focuses on safe operation of systems above 1,000 volts, with responsibilities spanning transformers, switchgear, and protection schemes.

You will work with engineers and technicians, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure safety standards, LO TO procedures, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience 3–5 years with high-voltage systems, transformers or substations.
• High-voltage safety certifications and arc flash training.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to work at height and in high-risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission high-voltage equipment such as transformers and switchgear.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults in HV systems and perform repairs or replacements.
• Perform high-voltage testing and ensure safety compliance and proper grounding.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Respond to emergency faults and coordinate shutdowns or tests with engineers.
• Collaborate with electricians, system operators and technicians.
• Monitor HV networks for performance and reliability improvements.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
