Job summary

EPSA Group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator for heavy equipment components and maintenance in mining and construction settings.

You will weld, cut, and fabricate on mobile plant parts, read technical drawings, follow OEM standards, and work with fitters and mechanics to ensure safe, high-quality repairs in workshop and field environments. This role demands attention to safety, accuracy, and collaboration with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• National Certificate in Fabrication Engineering or Boilermaker trade certificate.
• 5+ years of experience in structural welding and fabrication on heavy mobile equipment.
• Proficiency in SMAW, MIG, TIG welding techniques and cutting equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow OEM repair standards.
• Basic safety knowledge in mining or construction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding, cutting, and fabrication on mobile plant components (buckets, trays, booms, arms, chassis).
• Repair cracks, worn edges, and structural damage and perform bucket relines and refurbishments as per schedules.
• Operate welding, cutting, and grinding equipment safely and efficiently; read drawings and job specs.
• Collaborate with fitters and mechanics to complete equipment overhauls and ensure repair quality meets OEM standards.
• Complete job cards and maintenance logs; contribute to ongoing welding and repair improvements.
