Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Mechanic to service and overhaul heavy diesel engines on trucks, tractors, sweepers, loaders and excavators in our workshop in Jeddah. You will inspect engines, diagnose issues, and perform repairs or overhauls to component level.

The ideal candidate has a diesel technician diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy machinery workshops, with strong teamwork and safety discipline and English/Arabic communication abilities.

Qualifications

Diploma or high school diploma or equivalent vocational training as a diesel technician.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automobile technician in heavy machinery workshops.
Must be a team player and safety-oriented when carrying out repairs.
Fluency in English and/or Arabic.

Responsibilities

Inspect and diagnose engine issues and discuss repairs with workshop supervisor.
Dismantle, disassemble or assemble engines for overhaul or repair.
Repair or replace components such as pistons, rods, valves, bearings, carburetors, turbochargers, fuel pumps and injectors.
Perform Pre-Delivery Evaluation for new vehicles as required.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and organize tools.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the workshop foreman.
