Job summary

GEVERNOVA in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technician – Heat Treatment to support heat treatment operations on gas turbine components. You will execute process steps safely, apply Lean and 5S principles, and contribute to continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity.

The role emphasizes problem solving, standard work, and data recording, with a focus on reducing waste and driving line performance within takt time constraints.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical college degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience as a technician in manufacturing, heat treatment, or industrial role.

Responsibilities

• Perform heat treatment per approved work instructions, process specs and engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret work instructions and quality forms to ensure accurate heat treatment.
• Record and maintain accurate process and measurement data.
• Use heat treatment equipment, furnaces, fixtures, thermocouples, and hand tools safely.
• Inspect parts before and after heat treatment to ensure quality.
• Maintain 5S and clean, organized work area.
• Demonstrate Lean principles in daily work activities.
• Participate in problem solving and corrective action activities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, cycle time, flow, and waste reduction.
• Work within takt time, cycle time, and standard process flow expectations.
