• Experience leading and supervising staff in surveying/engineering operations.
• Ability to develop and implement department policies, goals, and plans.
• Strong involvement in budgeting, cost monitoring and resource planning.
• Proven capability to drive change, strategy, and team motivation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Department Manager in establishing policies, goals, quality objectives, and procedures.
• Assist in developing department business and operation plans aligned with ACES strategy.
• Monitor costs and resources in daily activities.
• Identify opportunities to expand business via innovative services or markets.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, build a positive culture, and oversee staffing and budgeting projections.
• Conduct staff appraisals, set objectives, and track qualifications and training needs.
• Oversee and manage departmental field operations, surveying procedures, and staff schedules.
• Respond to customer inquiries with professional surveying advice.
• Ensure equipment maintenance programs are deployed and vehicles are serviced.
