Job summary

FreshStart UAE is seeking a skilled Handyman for a contract position in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves performing a range of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.

Candidates should have at least two years of hands-on experience, be able to work independently, and communicate in English (Arabic a plus).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Handyman or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and painting techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing leaking faucets, changing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
• Conduct minor electrical repairs such as replacing outlets and light fixtures.
• Complete basic carpentry tasks including fixing doors, windows and furniture.
• Paint walls, ceilings and other surfaces as needed.
• General upkeep of properties including cleaning and organizing.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team for contract work in Jeddah Saudi Arabia As a Handyman you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial properties This includes plumbing electrical work carpentry painting and general upkeep The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess strong problem-solving skills This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance
