Job summary

GlobalProcure in Jizan, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Handyman to join our on-site maintenance team. You will perform a variety of repair tasks, from plumbing and electrical issues to carpentry and general upkeep, ensuring facilities are safe and functional for staff and guests.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills in English, and the physical ability to lift heavy objects.

Job description

Experienced Handyman

We are in need of an experienced Handyman to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on our premises. This includes but is not limited to fixing plumbing and electrical issues, repairing or replacing damaged items, and completing general upkeep tasks.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a Handyman and possess excellent problem-solving skills. You should also have knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work. Strong communication skills are also necessary as you will be required to interact with clients and other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and repairing fixtures
• Diagnose and fix plumbing and electrical issues
• Repair or replace damaged items such as doors, windows, or furniture
• Complete general upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing leaky faucets
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns
• Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Handyman
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work
• Ability to use various hand tools and equipment safely
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when necessary
