Job summary

SULIYAN COMPANY in Jeddah is seeking a skilled graphic designer to build brands from strategy to full visual identity. You will create logos, typography systems, and brand guidelines, then apply the identity across print and digital touchpoints.

You will collaborate with strategy and account teams, present design directions, and evolve brands while keeping equity intact. A strong portfolio and Arabic typography expertise are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of graphic design experience with brand identities.
• Portfolio with at least 3 end-to-end brand identities.
• Expert Arabic typography skills with RTL layouts.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of print production and file preparation.
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Translate brand strategy into distinctive visual identities.
• Design logos, wordmarks, and bilingual Arabic/English lockups.
• Define color palettes, typography systems, iconography, patterns, and photography styles.
• Present multiple identity routes with design rationale.
• Refresh and evolve existing brands while respecting equity.

Job description

We're looking for a graphic designer in Jeddah who builds brands from the ground up. You'll take a brand from strategy to a complete visual identity: logo, typography, color, graphic language, and the guidelines that keep it consistent. You'll then carry that identityacross every touchpoint. You'll work closely with our concept, strategy, and account teams, and your work will be at the heart of our client pitches.

What You'll Do

• Translate brand strategy, positioning, and personality into distinctive visual identities
• Design logos, wordmarks, and brand marks, including bilingual Arabic/English lockups
• Define color palettes, typography systems, iconography, patterns, and photography or illustration styles
• Present multiple identity routes with clear design rationale
• Refresh and evolve existing brands while respecting their equity

Brand Guidelines & Systems

• Create comprehensive brand guidelines and brand books
• Build flexible design systems and templates that client teams can use consistently
• Prepare final artwork and logo packages in all required formats for print and digital

Brand Applications

• Apply identities across stationery, packaging, signage, social media, digital, and outdoor
• Design marketing collateral: brochures, company profiles, ads, and campaign visuals
• Develop mockups that show how the brand lives in the real world
• Work with printers and production vendors to ensure quality and accuracy

Collaboration & Pitching

• Work with the concept and strategy teams to turn ideas into visual direction
• Design identity sections of pitch decks and client presentations
• Present and explain design work to clients and handle feedback professionally
• Stay current on regional and global design trends

What You Bring

• 4–6 years of graphic design experience, with a strong focus on brand identity, ideally at an agency in KSA or the GCC
• A portfolio showing at least 3 complete brand identities you designed, from concept to guidelines
• Expert Arabic typography skills: designing and pairing Arabic and English type with proper right-to-left layouts
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of design principles: layout, hierarchy, grid systems, and color theory
• Solid knowledge of print production and file preparation
• Understanding of Saudi culture and visual sensibilities
• The ability to explain the thinking behind your design choices
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects on deadline
• Arabic and English communication skills
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate

Nice to Have

• Motion design skills (After Effects) for animated logos and brand assets
• Figma for digital brand systems and UI elements
• Arabic calligraphy or custom lettering skills
• Experience with AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly) for exploration and mood boards
