Job Purpose

Responsible for creating visually compelling and on-brand designs across a variety of platforms, including digital and print media. This role focuses on delivering high-quality graphics that align with SOPC’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. The Graphic Designer collaborates closely with the Digital Media, Communications, and other internal teams to produce creative content that enhances SOPC’s visibility and engagement. Additionally, the role includes adapting designs for various digital formats, ensuring brand consistency, and staying updated with design trends to contribute innovative ideas to SOPC’s visual communication efforts.

Creative Design and Visual Development

• Develop visually engaging graphics and layouts for digital and print materials, including social media posts, newsletters, event signage, brochures, and promotional materials that reflect SOPC’s brand and messaging.
• Conceptualize and produce graphics that align with SOPC’s brand identity, ensuring consistency in style, font, colors, and overall design across all materials.
• Develop creative assets for special events, athlete features, and SOPC initiatives, ensuring high visual impact and audience engagement.
• Design layout templates and visual guidelines for SOPC’s digital channels, supporting consistent and professional presentation.

Collaboration and Project Support

• Work closely with the Digital Media team to integrate graphic designs into content strategies, supporting cohesive and impactful storytelling.
• Collaborate with external design vendors and agencies, providing design direction and feedback to maintain SOPC’s visual standards.
• Support live event coverage by creating real-time graphics that capture key moments and enhance audience engagement.

Brand Consistency and Quality Control

• Ensure all designs are brand-compliant, meeting SOPC’s visual and quality standards across all platforms.
• Review and refine designs to ensure clarity, consistency, and effectiveness, adjusting as needed based on feedback from the Digital Media team.
• Update and manage a library of design assets to ensure easy access for team members and alignment with current branding.

Innovation and Trend Analysis

• Stay updated on design trends and digital media best practices, incorporating new styles and techniques to keep SOPC’s visual presence fresh and engaging.
• Implement innovative design solutions to enhance digital engagement and support SOPC’s evolving visual identity.
