WSP in the Middle East is currently hiring a Government Relations Officer (GRO) – KSA National to join our growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Government Relations Officer will support day-to-day government processes and requirements for the company in Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong English communication skills, a valid Saudi driving licence, and the willingness to visit various government, non-government, and client offices or service centres as part of routine responsibilities. The GRO will also assist with completing documentation, submissions, and online tasks to ensure full compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Visit government offices (MISA,SCE,MOFA, MOI, MHRSD, GOSI, Chamber of Commerce, Municipality, etc.) to complete required tasks.
  • Support employee services: visas, work permits, Iqamas, issuance & renewals, transfers, cancellations.
  • Assist with company licenses-related requirements such as commercial registrations, licences, certificates, and issuance & renewals.
  • Complete online transactions via Qiwa, MOC,SBC, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad, Salamah,Baladi, and other relevant platforms.
  • Prepare and submit documents, forms, and letters as required.
  • Maintain organised records of submissions, issuance & renewals, and government correspondence.
  • Provide basic support to employees for GRO-related queries.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Saudi government rules and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Saudi National, with a valid Saudi driving licence and fluency in English
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 02–05 years of experience in government relations or administrative support.
  • Good understanding of Saudi government procedures and online portals.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to government , non-government and Client offices within KSA.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in an engineering, construction, or consulting environment.
  • Ability to handle documents accurately and professionally.
  • Basic problem-solving and follow-up skills.
