Job summary

Haskoning invites a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its Mission Critical Facilities team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will support electrical design for data centre projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with senior engineers on high-impact initiatives.

You will develop your technical skills in power distribution, lighting, earthing and emergency power, while working with multidisciplinary teams and international project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Recently graduated or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical building services design principles.
• Good command of English for international project teams.
• Saudi nationality required to support local projects in KSA.

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work on the design and delivery of mission critical data centre projects in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. What you will do as Graduate Electrical Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will support the electrical design of data centre projects from concept to delivery. You will work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, gradually taking on more responsibility as you develop your technical and professional skills.

• Support the design of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, earthing, and emergency power.
• Assist with electrical calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Support technical reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Contribute to reliable, safe, and sustainable electrical design solutions for data centres.

As our new Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will become part of the Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This team delivers complex, large-scale data centre projects for leading international and regional clients.

You will work in a collaborative and professional environment, together with experienced engineers and project managers, and be exposed to international standards, advanced technologies, and multidisciplinary project teams.

What you bring

You are a motivated and proactive graduate with a strong interest in electrical engineering and data centre projects. You enjoy working in a team environment, are eager to learn, and take responsibility for the quality of your work. Besides, you possess the following:

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, providing the required technical foundation.
• Recently graduated or up to 2 years of relevant experience, suitable for a graduate-level role.
• Basic understanding of electrical building services design principles.
• Good command of the English language, required for working in international project teams.
• Saudi Arabian nationality (KSA national) is required for this position, as the role supports our efforts to build a local team delivering value to local projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
