Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Golf Agronomy Foreman to lead the agronomy team in maintaining high-quality turf and landscapes, ensuring healthy and playable golf conditions.

You will supervise daily operations, implement turf programs, monitor soil and turf health, and coordinate schedules to minimize disruption while staying compliant with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Turf Management, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of golf course agronomy or turf management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass species, soil science, pest control, irrigation systems, and fertility management.
• Hands-on experience with turf maintenance equipment and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Agronomy Foreman to join our team, contributing to the management and maintenance of our world-class golf facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the health, quality, and playability of the golf course turf, green spaces, and surrounding landscapes.

As the Golf Agronomy Foreman, you will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the agronomy team, ensuring that agronomic practices meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability. You will work closely with golf course managers and agronomy specialists to implement effective turf management and maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage agronomy staff in the daily maintenance of golf course turf, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and soil management.
• Implement turf management programs that optimize turf health and ensure excellent playing conditions.
• Monitor turf health and soil conditions, recommending and applying corrective measures as needed.
• Coordinate the scheduling of maintenance activities to minimize disruption to golf course operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all agronomy activities.
• Maintain inventory of agronomy supplies and equipment, ordering materials as needed.
• Train and mentor agronomy staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with management to develop seasonal plans and budgets for agronomy operations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in golf course agronomy and turf management.

• Diploma or degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Turf Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in golf course agronomy or turf management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass species, soil science, pest control, irrigation systems, and fertility management.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
