Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to provide expert tax advice and ensure compliance with tax laws. The role focuses on identifying tax savings opportunities and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

You will research laws, prepare returns for individuals and corporations, and collaborate with clients and other departments to deliver comprehensive services. Strong certifications and 2–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, EA, or CFP
• 2–5 years of experience in tax consulting or related field
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, corporate tax, and international tax
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong client service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships

Responsibilities

• Provide expert tax advice and guidance on income tax, corporate tax, and international tax
• Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
• Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns
• Identify tax savings opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Collaborate with clients to gather information for tax planning and preparation
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients for ongoing tax guidance
• Stay current on industry trends and apply knowledge to provide innovative tax solutions
• Collaborate with audit and accounting teams to deliver comprehensive services
