Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Cost Engineer for the Ar Rjum project in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on preparing cost forecasts, reviewing cost trends, and implementing project requirements for cost control to support timely and accurate project performance reporting.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8–12 years of experience, with proficiency in EcoSys, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project/Construction Management or related fields (or international equivalent).
• Proven ability to present Project Controls information to management/client.
• Experience applying cost control and forecasting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost budgets and accurate cost & cashflow forecasts, utilising the change management system.
• Monitor progress of contractors, verify monthly incurred costs, prepare monthly accruals and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure approved trends and changes are incorporated into the overall project estimate at completion (EAC) and budget for cost and quantities.
• Prepare routine performance reports and special studies related to assigned scope for presentation to management and client.
• Maintain open communications to support cost engineering analysis and control activities.
