Job summary

GOTION HIGH-TECH is seeking a BESS Solution Engineer/Manager to design competitive energy storage solutions for utility-scale and commercial projects across international markets. You will define system architecture and coordinate batteries, PCS, BMS, and EMS selections, while engaging with customers during proposals and negotiations.

This role requires strong knowledge of BESS architectures, grid codes, and international project delivery, with travel to regional sites as needed and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in energy storage industry experience.
• 2+ years supporting international utility-scale BESS projects.
• Fluent English for technical and business communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized BESS solutions based on customer requirements, site conditions, grid requirements, and project objectives.
• Define system architecture and support selection/integration of batteries, PCS, BMS, and EMS.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and support proposals and negotiations.
• Evaluate feasibility and ensure solutions comply with grid codes and standards.
• Review specifications to identify technical requirements, risks, and deviations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, R&D, and Delivery to develop competitive solutions.
• Track international energy storage markets, grid rules, regulations, and tech trends to inform strategy.
