Geospatial Project Manager (00128926)
Job Purpose:
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government‑to‑Government arrangements to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. The Geospatial Project Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation of geospatial projects to meet time, cost and quality constraints and to support the training and development of Saudi National capability.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of geospatial projects.
- Ensure projects are completed within time, cost and quality constraints to meet organisational requirements.
- Collaborate with other geospatial specialists to develop and manage projects.
- Apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and address project‑related issues.
- Monitor and report project progress, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of geospatial project management principles and practices.
Recruitment Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong knowledge of geospatial information project management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
