FORFix is looking for a General Operations and Projects Manager who will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the company and management of all projects and sites. This position directly reports to the Executive Director.
This role is not administrative or coordination-based, nor is it limited to managing a single project; the required candidate must be an operational leader capable of managing operations, projects, workforce, costs, and achieving results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the company and all projects and sites.
- Prepare operational plans and prioritize projects.
- Allocate workforce, materials, and resources as needed for each project.
- Manage project managers, engineers, supervisors, and workforce.
- Establish daily and weekly production targets and monitor their achievement.
- Track schedules, completion rates, costs, and project profitability.
- Address delays and shortages in workforce and materials.
- Monitor contractors and suppliers and ensure compliance and quality of their work.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Monitor subcontractors and executed works and coordinate with financial management.
- Review work scopes, estimates, and costs before submitting proposals.
- Monitor contracts, change orders, requirements, and operational correspondence.
- Participate in the selection of employees and contractors and evaluate their performance.
- Develop an operational framework that ensures compliance and continuity of works.
- Submit weekly operational reports to senior management regarding project status.

Skills
- Experience of no less than 8 years in the contracting sector, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects and sites simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge in workforce management, production, costs, and project profitability.
- Experience with subcontractors and contractor agreements and change orders.
- Experience in preparing operational budgets and cash flow for projects.
- High leadership skills and decision-making abilities to solve field issues.
- Strong personality, organized, and capable of managing teams and holding underperformers accountable.
- Ability to prepare project plans and operational reports.
- Proficiency in Excel and project management software.
- Fluency in Arabic; English is an additional advantage.
- Previous experience in the Saudi contracting market.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, project management, business administration, or a relevant specialization.
- PMP certification or equivalent is an additional advantage.
- Possession of a private car and a valid driving license is essential.
- Willingness to travel and monitor projects and sites within Riyadh.
