Job summary

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, seeks a faculty member for the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences to support the Core Curriculum and its related programs. The candidate will teach, advise students, and contribute to curriculum development in a vibrant college setting.

Qualifications

• PhD required; master’s in communication, education, linguistics, leadership, curriculum development, research methods, professional development, or related field with three years of college teaching preferred.
• In addition to teaching, faculty will provide academic advising, curriculum development, prepare syllabi, plan team activities, construct assessments, keep grade records, hold office hours, and perform standard non-teaching duties.

• Work with students to provide world-class education and an excellent student experience.
• Promote inclusiveness and respect diversity within the college community.
• Contribute to course design, development, and planning within the subject area.
• Participate in program review, assessment, and quality assurance processes.
• Provide timely feedback and assessment of coursework and examinations.
• Support students and refer to appropriate services when needed.
