About Manzil and the Frontend Engineer Role

Manzil is the leading co‑living and transportation platform for blue‑collar workers in Saudi Arabia, offering tech‑powered, affordable, and dignified housing options at scale. Through our hybrid model, subleasing, building, and a C2B marketplace, we help companies house and move their workers without operational headaches while unlocking income for landlords and real estate owners. As a Frontend Engineer (Web) at Mnzil, you will own the development and maintenance of the company’s web applications, taking projects from concept to deployment and ensuring high‑quality, implementations. You will build and optimise web interfaces using React and Next.js, collaborate closely with backend, product, design, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences, and apply clean code practices and modern frontend architecture to ensure performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production‑grade web applications.

• Strong experience with React and Next.js.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.

• Experience with TailwindCSS and state‑management solutions such as Zustand or Redux.

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and performance optimisation.

• Experience working closely with cross‑functional teams (backend, product, design).

• Hands‑on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core web applications, including customer‑facing portals and internal dashboards.

• Own frontend projects end‑to‑end, from concept and implementation to deployment.

• Develop scalable, maintainable web applications using React and Next.js.

• Collaborate closely with backend, product, design, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Organise and optimise frontend architecture for scalability and long‑term maintainability.
