Job summary

Visuna Ltd places Fracturing Maintenance Assistants in Saudi Arabia to support hydraulic fracturing operations. The role involves assisting Maintenance Technicians and other specialists with inspection, maintenance and servicing of fracturing equipment in demanding field environments.

Applicants should have prior maintenance assistant experience, familiarity with oil & gas equipment, and a strong safety mindset. The position requires extended shifts and hands-on work in a remote site setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as maintenance assistant or similar field-based role
• Oil & Gas industry experience is desirable
• Able to follow maintenance procedures and safety requirements
• Physically fit for extended shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance personnel with inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of hydraulic fracturing equipment
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance on fracturing pumps, blenders, hydration units, chemical systems, power units, manifolds, valves and related equipment
• Aid with rig-up and rig-down activities for fracturing jobs
• Prepare equipment for fracturing jobs including cleaning, inspection, lubrication and servicing
• Assist with changing filters, hoses, fittings, seals and other serviceable components
• Assist mechanics and technicians with dismantling, assembly and replacement of components
• Support electrical and instrumentation technicians within training and authorization
• Conduct visual inspections to identify leaks, wear, damage or other defects
• Report equipment abnormalities and maintenance requirements to supervisors
• Assist with pressure testing and function testing under supervision
• Ensure tools, spare parts and maintenance equipment are stored properly
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around equipment and facilities
• Assist with loading/unloading and movement of equipment and parts
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists and logs
• Follow maintenance schedules and company procedures
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Support emergency response activities as needed
• Perform other maintenance and field support duties as directed
