Job summary

Siham International Trading Co. in Riyadh is seeking energetic Food Runners to join our luxury dining team. You will work closely with kitchen and front-of-house to deliver dishes quickly and accurately.

The role requires 2+ years in fine-dining or luxury hospitality, fluent English, and a positive, guest-focused attitude. You will help with service, maintain cleanliness, and support the team during busy periods while upholding hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Food Runner or Waiter in a luxury fine-dining restaurant or hotel.
• Experience in premium dining, luxury hospitality, or high-volume restaurants is required.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to correct tables promptly and accurately.
• Verify each order for accuracy, presentation, and quality before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, captains, waiters, and hostesses to ensure smooth service.
• Describe dishes to guests and answer basic menu questions confidently.
• Assist with table service, including serving, clearing plates, refilling water, and resetting tables.
• Ensure food is delivered at correct temperature and presented to brand standards.

Job description

We are seeking energetic, service-oriented, and detail-focused Food Runners to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Working closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams, you will ensure every dish reaches the right guest quickly, and accurately.

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately.
• Verify each order before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy, presentation, and quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, captains, waiters, and hostesses to ensure smooth service.
• Describe dishes to guests when required and answer basic menu questions confidently.
• Assist waitstaff with table service, including serving food, clearing plates, refilling water, and resetting tables when needed.
• Ensure food is delivered at the correct temperature and presented according to brand standards.
• Monitor guest needs during service and promptly communicate requests to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, pass areas, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including polishing cutlery, stocking service stations, and preparing dining areas.
• Support the restaurant team during busy service periods to maintain an exceptional guest experience.
• Uphold standards of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• 2+ years experience as a Food Runner or Waiter in a luxury fine-dinning restaurant or hotel setting.
• Experience in premium dining, luxury hospitality, or high-volume restaurants is required.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while carrying multiple plates safely.
