Job summary

ALEC Fitout in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team, delivering precise shop drawings and production files for bespoke joinery across luxury hospitality, retail, and commercial projects.

You will report to the Technical Manager and collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure design intent is met, accurate BOMs, and timely release of drawings for manufacturing. Extensive joinery drafting experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in joinery drafting and production detailing.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and joinery standards.
• Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create precise 2D/3D CAD+T drawings for bespoke joinery.
• Generate machine-ready files, cutting lists, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with production to resolve technical challenges.
• Manage drawing versions and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support material optimization and quality control in production.

About Your Team

You will report to the Technical Manager and play a pivotal role within the Technical Department, preparing highly accurate shop drawings and production files for bespoke joinery items. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and factory teams to ensure seamless production, compliance with design intent, and excellence in execution.

Your Role

As a Draughtsman, you will manage the technical drawing process for custom furniture and joinery projects from concept to factory release. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating precise 2D/3D CAD+T drawings for bespoke joinery items
• Generating machine-ready files, cutting lists, and BOMs
• Coordinating with production to resolve technical challenges
• Managing drawing versions and ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Optimizing materials and supporting quality control during production

What We're Looking For

Experience: 5+ years in joinery drafting and production detailing

Expertise: AutoCAD, MS Office, and a strong understanding of joinery manufacturing and standards
