Job summary

N/A is seeking a Fire Safety Engineer to deliver technical fire and life safety engineering activity under the guidance of the Fire Safety Engineering Lead. You will support AHJ governance, conduct technical reviews, field assessments, inspections and risk assessments in accordance with approved procedures and delegated authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in Fire Protection Engineering or Life Safety.
• Knowledge of SBC, NFPA, IFC and Saudi Civil Defense requirements.
• Experience inspecting, testing, commissioning and ensuring compliance of fire protection systems.
• CFPS/CFPE/NICET/IFE or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fire and life safety engineering reviews, inspections, assessments and field verifications.
• Review new construction renovations fire protection systems and high-hazard facilities.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, Saudi Civil Defense, NFPA, IFC and applicable fire safety requirements.
• Support inspection, testing, maintenance, commissioning and verification of fire protection systems.
• Review systems including fire alarms, water-based and special suppression, smoke control, passive fire protection, doors, barriers and means of egress.
• Investigate fire incidents, system failures, alarms, and other life safety issues.
• Coordinate with projects, facilities, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
