Job summary

DMK GENERAL CONTRACTING EST is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install, test and service fire alarm systems on client sites in the Eastern Province. You will read blueprints and schematics to plan installations, perform routine testing, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, NICET Level II or equivalent certification, and 2–5 years of hands-on experience with fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• NICET Level II or equivalent certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience with fire alarm installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with local and national codes.
• Perform routine testing of detectors, pull stations and notification appliances.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in fire alarm control panels to minimize downtime.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately install and service fire alarm systems.

Job description

• Install inspect and maintain fire alarm systems ensuring compliance with all local and national codes
• Perform routine testing of fire alarm components including smoke detectors heat detectors pull stations and notification appliances
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in fire alarm control panels and associated devices minimizing system downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals to accurately install and service fire alarm systems
• Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related qualification to do fire alram troubleshoootingHold NICET Level II or other certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
• Have at least 2-5 years of hands-on experience specifically with fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and building blueprints.
