Job summary

Al hamra safety and security system seeks a qualified Fire Protection Engineer to lead fire prevention strategies across facilities, conducting risk assessments and specifying detection and suppression solutions in line with NFPA, IBC, and safety regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Fire Protection or Safety Engineering, plus CFPS or CSP certifications, and at least five years of relevant industrial or commercial experience to safeguard personnel and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related technical field.
• CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial or commercial fire and safety engineering.
• Strong understanding of fire dynamics, building codes (NFPA, IBC) and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fire prevention and protection strategies.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify threats and mitigation measures.
• Design, install and maintain fire detection, alarm and suppression systems in compliance with codes and standards.
• Perform regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to ensure safety compliance and identify deficiencies.
