Job summary

FlyAkeed is seeking a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance and high data integrity. The role requires 8–12 years in financial reporting with audit firm experience and FM&V knowledge, plus strong Excel and ERP skills.

The ideal candidate will mentor juniors, coordinate with auditors, and help enhance controls and reporting processes within a dynamic Saudi Arabian travel platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of total relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, financial management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an audit firm.
• FM&V knowledge is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in financial statement preparation, analysis and reporting.
• Experience with external auditors and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting data.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Review IFRS/GAAP and other accounting treatments for compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, finance teams, and external auditors.
• Support year-end closing and timely completion of financial reporting.
• Analyze results, variances, trends, and KPIs for management insights.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses as required.
• Support implementation and enhancement of financial reporting processes and controls.
• Identify reporting risks and propose improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare presentations and financial analyses for senior management.

We are looking for aFinancial Reporting Assistant Managerto support the preparation, analysis, and review of financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong financial reporting experience, preferably gained from a leadingaudit firm, combined with solidFinancial Management & Valuation (FM&V)knowledge and professional certification such asCMA.

Key Responsibilities

• Supportthe preparation andreview of monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial reports.
