Job summary

HiredAbhi is seeking a Financial Controller to manage all financial operations, including budgeting, tax compliance, analysis, reporting, and forecasting. The role emphasizes audits, cash management, reconciliations, and safeguarding records.

The ideal candidate holds CA credentials, has at least 6 years of PQE with 2+ years in the KSA market, and resides in Saudi Arabia. You will lead ERP implementation and drive standardized financial processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant required.
• Minimum 6 years PQE in financial reporting, with at least 2 years in KSA.
• Strong knowledge of local taxation and financial regulations.
• Residency in Saudi Arabia required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance Operations Director to optimize revenue management, accounts payable and financial reporting & consolidation.
• Lead ERP implementation, including data migration and system setup for seamless integration.
• Oversee consolidation and monthly/annual closings to maintain financial integrity.
• Develop and implement financial controls, SOPs and automation tools to standardize processes.
• Monitor financial health and spearhead initiatives to improve performance.
• Mentor and develop the financial controlling team.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
• Must be aQualifiedCharteredAccountant
  
• Minimum of 6 years PQE experience in financial reporting, with at least 2 years specifically inKSA market, demonstrating a strong understanding of local taxation and financial regulations.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, evaluation, modeling, and forecasting, with a keen attention to detail and a solid grasp of KSA’s financial and legal requirements.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, planning, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines.
• Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance Operations Director to establish and optimize three key sub-functions: revenue management, accounts payable and financial reporting & consolidation, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead ERP implementation process, including overseeing data migration and system setup to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
• Oversee consolidation and financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and annual closings to maintain financial integrity.
• Develop and implement financial controls, SOPs and automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency and standardize processes across the finance function.
• Monitorcompany’s financial health and performance, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and spearheading initiatives to drive positive change.
• Stay current with advancements in financial technologies and software, leveraging them to automate processes and streamline operations.
• Mentor and develop the financial controlling team, fostering leadership and preparing the next generation of finance leaders.
