Job Purpose
To manage and oversee the company’s day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy of financial records and reports, maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, and support management in financial planning and sound financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and bank transfers.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with approved accounting standards and policies.
- Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and submit them to management.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely settlement of balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor bank accounts.
- Support budget preparation and track actual spending against approved budgets.
- Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
- Monitor financial obligations and contracts and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required financial data and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial, accounting, and tax regulations.
- Prepare financial analyses and management reports to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential financial records and documentation.
- Contribute to improving financial controls, procedures, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Previous experience in financial, investment, or FinTech companies is preferred.
- Good knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
