A leading contracting company in the Riyadh region of Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced finance manager. The successful candidate will oversee financial control, manage the budgeting process, and provide critical financial advice to senior management. A Bachelor's degree in finance is required, along with 15+ years of relevant experience in financial management. This role also includes people management responsibilities and the opportunity to establish significant financial policies. Strong financial modelling and analysis skills are essential.
To manage the provision of high-quality financial control, management information, and financial advice to the executive management in order to facilitate decision‑making and safeguard the company’s assets. To oversee and direct the annual budgeting process (provision of advice, assessment and validation/correction of department budget forecasts, Board presentation, and sign‑off) in order to develop accurate budgets at the department and corporate level and support the company strategy.
Provide periodically achievements and insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long‑term and short‑term decision making.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Negotiates and establishes advantageous banking and credit facilities with International and Local banks.
Assess the cost‑reduction opportunities, generate effective methods for minimizing financial risk and conduct reviews and evaluations for cost‑reduction opportunities.
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met, and track the company financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
Support the Investments team on investments balances and activities, and to deliver accurate and timely investments accounts details.
Monitor financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
Perform all other business‑related duties as required by the GM and Head of Investments.
Manages the members of the department by evaluating their performance, providing feedback on an on‑going basis, identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure capability development.
Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
A professional qualification (CPA, CMA, CA) or an MBA from a top tier business school is desirable but not essential.
