Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator (Drilling Safety & Environment) to support Upstream Drilling & Workover Operations. You will ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, lead audits, investigations, and drive continuous safety improvements on assigned rigs.

This role requires extensive HSE experience in oil & gas, strong leadership, and ability to mentor field staff. On-site presence at drilling operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) certification.
• Minimum 10 years HSE experience in oil & gas, with 7+ years supporting Saudi Aramco or major upstream drilling/workover operations.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco SMS, drilling HSE requirements, incident investigation, risk assessment, and audits.
• Proven experience in auditing, field inspections, and HSE performance improvement programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as Field HSE Advisor for drilling/workover rigs, ensuring compliance with SMS, GIs, and Upstream drilling standards.
• Conduct routine HSE audits, inspections, NCRs, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Support pre-commencement inspections for new rigs and audits by RHSEI, LPD, EPD.
• Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and contractor HSE compliance.
• Mentor rig foremen, supervisors, and Safety Officers to strengthen HSE leadership.
• Conduct behavioral safety observations and participate in rig safety meetings.
• Prepare HSE reports, compliance documentation, and performance metrics.
